How your typical day would go:

  • Perform the full range of collections duties on customers of moderate to high complexity. Incumbent uses various systems and technologies and operates within Arconic's and Global Credit's Policies and Procedures and sometimes assists in the training and development of collectors
  • Provide a high degree of communication and interaction with external customers and internal (Business Unit) customers to resolve discrepant items, gain new information, and formulate working modes. Strong customer service skills are a must.
  • Perform sound risk assessments on customers portfolio.
  • Support integrating new locations to the Global Credit standard processes
  • Seeks further process improvement opportunities and participate in pilots and implementations
  • Achieve Credit KPI goals
  • Assure compliance to Arconic’s control objectives.

We will like you if you have:

  • Formal college/university education in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • Written and verbal fluency in English and a second European language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness and ability to learn new tools (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, …)
  • Work experience in Collection and/or financial analysis.
  • Analytical thinking and good problem-solving skills are required,
  • Adapts to continuous change and learning
  • Delivers results and meets deadlines
  • Provides constructive input and recommendations
  • Creative approach and ability to work both independently and in team situations,
  • Ability to work in a high pressure high intensity environment where numerous requests are being requested simultaneously,
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, Proactive/action-oriented attitude
  • Clear criminal records are required. Request for certificate will be processed by the company.
